Nerdy bit. Each weather sensor is Arduino based, using either a DHT11 or BME280 temperature sensor, or in the case of the pool a DS18B20 waterproof sensor. Each sensor circuit is connected to the local WiFi and writes a record to a MySQL database every 20-30 minutes. The database can be interrogated using the green button on the homepage of this website.
We are retired couple in our 60s enjoying the quiet pace of life in this part of Spain. The weather helps too! Our hobbies in no particular order are travel, golf, photography, playing guitar, writing, sewing and electronics. We are blessed with two wonderful children who enjoy visiting us although one has recently moved to Vietnam, so we can feel a spot of travelling coming on soon!
